Game Night is one of the most popular events with vendors and retailers at ASTRA’s Marketplace & Academy. It’s a night for relaxed game playing in a fun, social atmosphere where game manufacturers can demonstrate 1-2 of their latest and greatest game(s) to hundreds of retailers in a short period of time.
Session Goals:
- Retailers learn how to play and sell your game
- Manufacturers get to show, tell, demo and play one of their favorite games!
- Have fun, meet potential customers, and build relationships!
If you are a game manufacturer, you won’t want to miss this wonderful networking opportunity!
How It Works:
Exhibitors that manufacturer games must submit a game night application and meet the following requirements in order to be entered into the lottery. Applications will be emailed to all exhibitors paid in full in March. The lottery winners will be announced in April.
In order to be considered, your company must meet the following regulations:
- Only allowed 1-2 game(s). Must provide a picture and game description.
- Games cannot be shown in consecutive years. If you demonstrated these games in 2011, they cannot be present in 2012.
- Booth fees must be paid in full to be eligible for the lottery.
Logistics:
There are 40 tables in this session with seating for 8 individuals per table; with three hours of demonstration time. Attendees will spend ten minutes at a demonstration table and then have two minutes to move to the next demonstration table of their choice. Appetizers will be served for the comfort of our attendees and a cash bar will be available for drink purchases.
